Katy Perry puts on a Hershey Kisses bra for the new cover of Rolling Stone hitting newsstands on Friday (June 24)!
The 26-year-old entertainer was interviewed by contributing editor Erik Hedegaard and photographed by Terry Richardson.
"Whenever people ask me about having bad reviews, I’m like, ‘Have you seen the run I’ve had? Have you seen the numbers?" Katy says in the magazine. "Numbers do not lie!"
"I’m not a dummy. I know "California Gurls" isn’t going to save the world. But I got a lot of heart from my upbringing and I put a lot of heart in my songs."
Katy is also about to make "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F)" her 5th consecutive #1 single from "Teenage Dream" after moving 28-1 on Billboards Digital Songs chart with 235,000 downloads sold.

Beyoncé shares a dual cover with Christina Aguilera for W magazine’s July 2011 issue.
The 29-year-old R&B diva was interviewed by Lynn Hirschberg and photographed by Patrick Demarchelier.
"In my videos I always want to be a powerful woman," Beyoncé said in the interview. "That’s my mission."
On the inspiration for her new album "4": "I wanted this record to come from a raw place. Playing Etta James in the movie Cadillac Records really changed me. It was a darker character, and I realized that if anything is too comfortable, I want to run from it. It’s no fun being safe."
Her fourth studio album "4" will be released on Tuesday (June 28)!

Lady Gaga brings back the hair-bow on the latest issue of Rolling Stone. This is her third cover in just over two years!
"When I am not onstage I feel dead," Gaga says in the magazine. "Whether that is healthy or not to you, or healthy or not to anyone, or a doctor, is really of no concern to me. I don't feel alive unless I'm performing, and that's just the way I was born."
"Being myself in public was very difficult," she says. "I was being poked and probed and people would actually touch me and touch my clothes and be like, 'What the fuck is that,' just so awful. It was like I was being bullied by music lovers, because they couldn't possibly believe that I was genuine."
Gaga was interviewed by Brian Hiatt and photographed by Ryan McGinley.

Musical savior Janelle Monae covers this month’s issue of urban mag Rolling Out in a glamorous shoot inspired by magic and French antiques (yup). Rolling Out’s covers are usually boring snaps of urban flops like Trina and Angela Simmons posing against plain colored backdrops, but Janelle, who has creative control over all her photoshoots, was sure to bring a bit of creativity and class to her cover.
The 25-year-old songstress, who is scientifically proven to be better than your faves, is currently “recording, writing, [and] playing instruments” for the follow-up to her critically-acclaimed debut The ArchAndroid.
“This album will have very strong concepts and bigger ideas and the music will just go forward to another level,” Monáe tells Hive. “It will still be, I believe, relatable to the people. We have really big ideas, I must say, and we’re just trying to make sure we execute them properly.” [via Singersroom]
It already sounds flawless, to be honest.
Disney hottie Selena Gomez covers the latest issue of Billboard magazine this week, amping up the promo for her upcoming third studio album When The Sun Goes Down. The cover shot is another flirty, vintage photo, which finally clarifies that the concept for her new album is different looks from different decades.
A relatively normal and seemingly non-medicated Britney Spears was on Entertainment Tonight earlier to plug her upcoming Femme Fatale tour. The lucid superstar chatted about the usual stuff people on these types of shows are asked, like how they get in shape and all that jazz, while also offering a behind-the-scenes look at her recent rehearsals.
And I gotta say — the tour looks like it’s gonna be pretty damn good. Will Britney sing or dance or walk with any type of fluidity? Probably not, but as an entertaining show it looks like a lot of fun.
Britney will be on the next episode of Entertainment Tonight as well, where she’ll talk about her kids and being a mother.
Her next single “I Wanna Go” hits radio on June 14, and her Femme Fatale album has now sold over 1 million copies worldwide.
Pretentious Aussie pop duo The Veronicas are finally set to make a comeback with a brand new single and album this year. To remind the world that they still exist, the twins have kicked off a new viral campaign, beginning today with a VLOG uploaded to their Youtube account.
Rising R&B star, powerhouse vocalist, and R. Kelly protege K. Michelle has opened up about her struggles with her record label Jive in a new interview. During the lengthy chat, K claims that Jive won’t let her release any of the singles she wants, have misrepresented her as an artist, failed to promote her properly, and haven’t let her show off her skills as a musician — venting her frustrations over being marketed as a man-bashing R&B diva.
If you follow me on Twitter, then you’d know that I was up last night at midnight waiting for the scheduled premiere of the new 2NE1 single. 12am came and went and the song was nowhere to be found, with most of us fans assuming that the non-premiere was a result of the recent car accident involving BIGBANG’s Daesung. Turns out we were right, with 2NE1′s agency YG Entertainment confirming the news today.
“We have decided to delay the release of 2NE1′s new song and the content of YG On Air by one week. It was a decision made in a tight and stressful situation, and we hope that we will be forgiven and understood for not giving proper forewarning about our decision”
If you haven’t been keeping up with the K-Pop news, BIGBANG’s Daesung was involved in a car accident this week in which a motorcyclist was killed. It’s a very complicated situation involving another car, a hit and run before Daesung was even on the scene, and some other factors — you can read the specific details on AllKPop, but for the mean time, police are conducting a thorough investigation to fully determine whether Daesung was at fault or not (so far, it looks like he probably wasn’t). Having YG Entertainment’s biggest band involved in something like this is obviously taking its toll on the agency, so it’s no surprise that 2NE1′s new promotional campaign has had to temporarily take a back seat.
Anyway, it’s not like one week will hurt 2NE1 too much. Their single “Lonely” is #5 in its third week on the chart, after hitting number one last week, and they already picked up a music program award on Sunday’s Inkigayo. Although, you do have to wonder if Daesung’s situation could end up negatively affecting 2NE1′s new album launch overall — and don’t get me started on what this will mean for BIGBANG, who were scheduled to drop another album soon.
Good luck to Daesung the YG family, and everyone involved during this difficult time.

Sorry Sorry Sorry Sorry, Neka Neka Neka…
Asia’s biggest boy band that isn’t BIGBANG or TVXQ, Super Junior, confirmed today that they have officially begun recording their fifth studio album.
Member Leeteuk confirmed that recording had already begun on the Super Junior radio show, while Ryeowook Tweeted that the group have been practicing hard in preparation for its release.
The new album will follow-up the boys mega-smash BONAMANA, which was the highest-selling album in South Korea for 2010. The album also spawned a mega-hit in the title track, which has been sitting at #1 on the Taiwanese charts for the past YEAR and counting.
Speaking of the song’s success in Taiwan, member Heechul Tweeted: “BONAMANA has been at #1 in Taiwan for over a year. At the end, only our 5th album’s new song will be able to beat “BONAMANA.” Even though we are going crazy over the preparation of the 5th album, you guys will go crazy because of the album’s release, because we are a killer group.”
I’m sure they’ll be able to top “BONAMAMA” since it’s just a less-amazing version of “Sorry Sorry”, which has to be up there with SNSD’s “Gee” and Wonder Girls’ “Nobody” as one of the greatest K-Pop songs of all time.
The album should be amazing, though. Super Junior always have incredible songs, and besides a few dud ballads, the BONAMANA album was basically flawless. And if they come back this year, they won’t even have any other boy band competition — TVXQ have already wrapped up their comeback promotions, SM won’t put SHINee and SuJu directly against each other, BIGBANG will obviously be delayed indefinitely due to Daesung’s recent accident, and JYP’s 2PM aren’t successful enough yet to pose a threat.
If you’re new to SuJu, check out three of their flawless hits below.
After covering Billboard magazine at the beginning of May, Beyonce has landed yet another cover for the mag, this time in celebration of her meaningless prop well deserved and prestigious Millennium Award. Billboard have included another feature article on Bey in the new issue; some questions are new and others were previously published in her last cover story, but it still makes for a good laugh fascinating insight into the mind of the world’s most dishonest and fraudulent talented and creative woman.
