Britney Spears hits the studio with Alex Da Kid.

Another producer to add to the list of collaborators on Britney Spears upcoming seventh album is man of the moment Alex Da Kid. The best part though is that Alex has revealed that he’s actually IN the studio with the star, rather than simply just submitting material like a lot of other producers have been.

“I am currently in the studio with a number of other artists, including Britney Spears, and I’m really excited at what the future holds. My aim is to become a global writer.” {source}

Alex is poised to become the next ‘it’ producer in the industry, and is currently ruling the Billboard charts thanks to his work on B.o.B. and Hayley Williams’ “Airplanes”, and Eminem and Rihanna’s collabo “Love the Way You Lie”. He’s also produced for Kid Cudi (“Man on the Moon”) and Nicki Minaj (“Massive Attack”), and is in the studio with Rihanna, Rob Thomas of Matchbox 20, Young Jeezy and Jennifer Lopez, working on their respective new albums.

Britney was recently spotted entering the same recording studio that she recorded Circus in, but has actually been in and out of the studio since last year. No release date for her seventh album has been given yet, but all signs pretty much confirm that it will be out before Christmas.

Oh, and in completely unrelated news, Hilary Duff just bought a mansion next door to one of Britney’s mansions. *shaking and crying*
