Singer Mya is on the cover of the latest issue of BMR magazine, proving that R&B is actually still really popular — in Japan!
Mya’s covering the mag to promote the release of her second Japenese-exclusive album ‘K.I.S.S.’, which is scheduled to hit stores on April 20th.
According to Wikipedia and a few hasty Google searches by me, Mya’s J-Pop single “Fabulous Life” and her urban track “Running Back” with Iyaz have yet to appear on Japan’s Hot 100 or Oricon chart. I guess the Japanese were too busy buying KARA records to notice poor Mya.
